Unto Its Innermost Parts!

Meet the team that has been reporting on spring time events on the Brandeis University campus!

Hailing from Long Island, New York, first-year and enthusiastic reporter Kara Karter will be a History major with minors in Journalism, Latin American and Latino Studies, and possibly Women's & Gender Studies. In her spare time she enjoys ice hockey, photography, and the Minnesota Twins. She cites interning for Hillary Clinton's 2006 Senatorial campaign as one of her most worthwhile ventures and cashiering at Toys R Us as a low point. To get on Kara's good side, she says, you simply order her an Iced Vanilla Latte at Einstein's Bagels.

Co-anchor and reporter, Nirja Parekh, is a junior at Brandeis, studying International and Global Studies, Journalism, and German. When she's not flexing her academic muscles, Nirja enjoys photography, playing sports, being outdoors and cooking, as well as eating, copious amounts of Indian food.

Reporter and co-anchor Pat Garofalo has plenty of journalistic experience as former editor in chief of the Hoot, one of Brandeis University’s student newspapers. The New Jersey native’s talents do not just lie in journalism, he also plays bass and drums in a band.

Reporter Svetlana Kotlyarenko is a senior at Brandeis University studying International & Global Studies and Politics. She has always been interested in the field of journalism, and says she is excited to finally take a journalism class. In her spare time she enjoys reading, politics, and traveling.

Born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana, engineer Alex Kronberger hopes to go into a career in broadcast journalism after he finishes at Brandeis. Aside from his studies, Alex spends much of his time running the Tech Department at WBRS and interviewing bands for his weekly metal show on WBRS, "Wednesday Night Mayhem with Stuart MarX." He is currently wanted in 39 states for watering people's plants without their permission.

Executive producer Claire Moses is a senior at Brandeis, majoring in history. She grew up in Amsterdam, where her love for journalism started. But when she transferred to Brandeis she started acting on it by getting involved with the Justice.

The person who made sure all the scripts look as flawless as they do is sophomore Emily Weisberger. This athletic editor enjoys playing tennis in her free time. Her career goals are not small either, she hopes to kick off a career in print journalism by writing, what she calls, “a tell-all book.”

The other Freshman of the troup Kalynn Cook is finishing up her first year at Brandeis, where she is involved in Punk Rock & Roll Club. She is from Loudoun County, Virginia. She first became interested in journalism in high school, where she was an editor for the school newspaper. This semester she also stumbled upon Democracy For America during a broadcasting report, and is now a proud member.
